Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other sources point to overnight lows near 79–82°F in Miami on September 12, driven by persistent easterly trade winds, high humidity, and scattered thunderstorms that limit radiative cooling under cloudy skies. These conditions align with late-summer climatology, where average September lows hover around 77°F but recent days have seen minima in the upper 70s amid similar moisture patterns. Trader consensus favoring 78–81°F outcomes reflects model agreement on modest cooling potential from evening showers, tempered by uncertainty in exact cloud cover, wind speeds, and any localized downbursts that could briefly suppress temperatures further. Updated guidance ahead of the date will refine these variables.
