**Trader sentiment on the "New 'Stranger Things' episode released by...?" ladder centers on Netflix's post-Season 5 strategy after the finale dropped December 31, 2025.** With the main series concluded, attention has shifted to the animated spin-off *Stranger Things: Tales From '85*, which has been renewed for a second season and is tracking toward additional episodes in fall 2026. Confirmed release windows, streaming metrics, and official Duffer Brothers or Netflix announcements serve as the strongest catalysts for shifting implied probabilities on specific deadlines. Historical patterns show Netflix often staggers franchise content, while guild and critics' reactions plus pre-release buzz typically influence timing. Traders should monitor upcoming Tudum events, chart performance of related titles, and any confirmation of live-action revival plans, as these directly impact resolution thresholds through the end of 2026 and into 2027.

For the purposes of this market, an “episode” must be listed as a distinct episode of Stranger Things on Netflix and be playable for general subscribers in the United States. A behind-the-scenes featurette, documentary, trailer, recap, cast interview, deleted scenes compilation, or other bonus content will not count unless it is clearly presented by Netflix as an official numbered or titled episode of the series.
If Netflix releases an alternate cut, extended cut, or “secret” version of an already-released episode, it will not count unless it is listed as a separate episode entry on Netflix.
The primary resolution source for this market will be the Stranger Things title page on Netflix (episode list and availability), however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
