Official National Weather Service observations from Central Park confirm a minimum temperature of 64–65°F on September 16, 2026, aligning precisely with the market’s near-certain outcome. This reading sits slightly above the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 61.6°F for the date, reflecting a mild overnight period under clear to partly cloudy skies with light southwesterly flow and no significant frontal passage or radiational cooling. Model consensus and surface analyses showed stable high pressure maintaining temperatures above typical early-fall minima. The only realistic challenges to resolution would involve post-event data revisions from the primary station or an unexpected discrepancy with auxiliary sites, though such adjustments are historically rare for daily minimums once preliminary climatological data are released.
