Recent polling aggregates for the September 6, 2026, Sachsen-Anhalt Landtag election place Grüne at 4–5% and BSW at 4–5%, with Grüne holding a slim edge in multiple surveys from INSA, Infratest dimap, and pollytix over the past month. Both parties remain near the 5% threshold amid stable support for larger forces like AfD at 41–43% and Die Linke near 13%. BSW’s limited state-level visibility, internal leadership tensions, and competition from other minor parties have constrained its momentum, while Grüne benefits from established regional structures and candidate continuity. Trader consensus on Grüne receiving more second votes reflects these consistent patterns, though final-week shifts in turnout or minor-party dynamics could narrow the gap before election day.
