**Recent short-range forecasts position 32°C as the most likely daily maximum for Singapore on September 12, aligning with the market's 50.5% implied probability.** Multiple models, including those referenced by WeatherBug and Met Office guidance, project daytime highs near 31–32°C (roughly 88–90°F) under partly cloudy skies with scattered showers possible. This matches Singapore's September climatological average high of 31.6°C at Changi, where equatorial location and consistent maritime influence keep temperatures in a narrow band. Current southwest monsoon conditions favor light southeasterly winds and moderate humidity, limiting extreme heating while allowing brief convective activity that can cap peaks. Recent dry spells earlier in the month have not produced notable warming trends, and no major model runs indicate significant deviations such as clear skies or enhanced subsidence that would push readings to 34°C or higher. The 33°C outcome (30% implied) remains plausible if afternoon insolation increases, but consensus favors the 31–33°C cluster given expected cloud cover and typical rain-day moderation. Traders appear to weigh official agency guidance and ensemble model agreement heavily, as these markets resolve on verified maximums from the Meteorological Service Singapore network. With resolution imminent, any updated 48-hour forecast shifts could refine the tight 32–33°C spread.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=wsss
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
