Parliamentary elections to elect all 127 seats of the National Assembly of Quebec are scheduled to take place in Quebec on October 5, 2026. This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the next Côte-du-Sud Quebec National Assembly election for a full term beginning in October 2026 or thereafter. If the election results are not known definitively by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting. In case of ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official election results as published by Elections Quebec (https://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/).The tight trader consensus in the Côte-du-Sud Quebec National Assembly race stems from a fragmented three-way contest among Coalition Avenir Québec incumbent Mathieu Rivest, Parti Québécois candidate Valérie Hamel, and Conservative Party of Quebec contender Frédéric Poulin, with projections showing each party in the mid-20s to low-30s percent range ahead of the October 5 vote. Recent campaign activity in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, including party leaders' regional stops and candidate announcements, has underscored local economic and governance priorities without producing clear separation. The Liberal nominee Nancy St-Pierre and any remaining contenders add further vote-splitting potential in a riding where 2022 CAQ dominance has eroded amid broader provincial shifts. This dynamic sustains elevated uncertainty reflected in market pricing, with any late polling shifts, turnout variations among key blocs, or additional endorsements capable of widening margins before nominations close in mid-September.
