Recent National Weather Service and model guidance points to a cooling trend for San Francisco overnight into September 11, 2026, driven by strengthening onshore flow and marine layer development following a heat wave influenced by Tropical Storm Marie remnants. Forecast lows cluster in the upper 50s to low 60s°F, consistent with seasonal norms around 56°F but tempered by persistent west-southwest winds of 10–20 mph that limit radiational cooling. This supports the market's leading implied probabilities for 58–63°F ranges, while the 21% on 51°F or below reflects residual uncertainty if the marine push strengthens beyond current consensus. Updated NHC and local model runs through the evening of September 10 will refine overnight minimums ahead of resolution.
