Recent GFS model runs and Korea Meteorological Administration guidance indicate a high near 27°C for Seoul and Incheon on September 17, with easterly winds, increasing cloud cover, and minimal precipitation supporting modest daytime warming under stable high pressure. This consensus aligns with the market's heaviest weighting on 27°C (49% implied probability), followed by 26°C and 28°C, as traders incorporate ensemble spreads showing limited potential for stronger warming or cooling. Historical September climatology for the region, with typical highs of 25–27°C, further anchors expectations absent any late-summer heat surge or frontal passage. Updated model outputs and official briefings over the next 48 hours will refine the exact maximum before resolution.
