This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 10 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=zgsz If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Forecasts for Shenzhen on September 10, 2026, point to an overnight low near 24–25°C under partly cloudy skies with scattered showers or thunderstorms possible.** Multiple sources, including local meteorological services and international models, consistently project daytime highs of 31–32°C and lows of 24–25°C, influenced by easterly to northeasterly flow and typical late-summer monsoon moisture. Thunderstorm timing and cloud cover are the main variables that could nudge the minimum a degree or two in either direction: earlier or heavier rain enhances cooling through evaporative effects and reduced daytime heating carryover, while clearer breaks allow slightly more radiative cooling overnight. Historical September averages for the city show lows around 24–25°C, providing a stable baseline absent major disruptions like a nearby typhoon (none currently indicated for this window). The closely matched market odds around the 24–25°C range versus higher or much lower bins reflect trader focus on these short-term uncertainties in precipitation and boundary-layer moisture rather than any large-scale shift in the weather pattern. Updated model runs and official briefings from agencies monitoring South China coastal conditions will likely refine the exact minimum as the date approaches.
