Persistent high pressure and southerly flow across North Texas are sustaining above-normal temperatures, with National Weather Service and private model consensus pointing to an overnight low near 80–83°F on September 9. Recent observations show daily lows holding in the upper 70s to low 80s amid clear skies and dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s, limiting radiative cooling. No frontal passage or increased cloud cover is expected through the period, keeping the probability of readings below 78°F low while elevating odds for the 80–83°F and 82–83°F brackets. Historical September averages near 73°F underscore the current warmth anomaly, and traders are weighting the latest forecast guidance showing minimal day-to-day change.
