Recent polls from July and early August 2026 show Eduardo Braga (MDB) holding the lead for one of Amazonas’s two Senate seats, leaving a fragmented contest for second place among Capitão Alberto Neto (PL), Plínio Valério (PSDB), Wilson Lima (União Brasil), and several lower-polling names. Neto’s position in trader consensus reflects his consistent second-place showings in available surveys, bolstered by PL party organization ahead of the October election. The broad field of confirmed candidates, including incumbents seeking re-election and high-profile entrants, has kept probabilities for second place closely contested without clear consolidation. Late-campaign developments such as additional polling releases, convention outcomes, or shifts in voter preference between now and election day could alter positioning for the remaining spot.
