Recent forecasts from models including GFS indicate a minimum temperature in New York City on September 19 in the low-to-mid 60s°F, driven by northeast winds and partly cloudy skies that limit daytime heating while permitting moderate overnight radiative cooling under moderate humidity. Historical September averages near 60.5°F provide context, yet current conditions reflect a slight cooling trend from recent days with observed lows of 57–67°F. Trader consensus clusters on 60–65°F bins due to typical model spread in boundary-layer details and Central Park's urban microclimate, with resolution depending on the official NWS minimum. New model runs and hourly observations through the night will refine probabilities ahead of market close.
