The Veolia Arizona Open men's singles draw on the PPA Tour features several top seeds navigating a field thinned by notable absences, including Hayden Patriquin, Gabe Tardio, and JW Johnson, which has opened paths in multiple quarters. Federico Staksrud enters as the top seed after strong recent form, while players such as Christian Alshon, Connor Garnett, and Zane Ford occupy prominent positions and must manage early-round matchups in round-of-32 play. Extreme desert heat has shifted sessions later into the evening, potentially affecting endurance across best-of-three or longer formats. Bracket positioning and rest advantages from byes or favorable early draws will shape progression to the semifinals, with the wisdom of crowds reflected in current market pricing emphasizing established ranking points contenders over emerging challengers.
