Recent U.S. nonfarm payrolls showing a 162,000 August gain above consensus have lifted September Fed hike odds to 50-60 percent, supporting DXY near 99.10-99.20 and testing resistance at 100.16-100.35. Traders now focus on August PPI and CPI releases this week, which will refine inflation trajectories and policy expectations amid the 3.50-3.75 percent fed funds target. Stronger prints could reinforce hawkish repricing and push the index higher, while cooler outcomes may ease yields and pressure the dollar within its recent 98.60-99.75 range. Geopolitical oil-price pressures add two-way volatility ahead of the September 16 FOMC decision.
