Recent National Weather Service guidance and ensemble model runs indicate a Thursday night low in San Francisco likely between 60–67°F, reflecting moderating onshore flow and a thinning marine layer after several warmer days. Historical climatology places the September 10 average low near 56°F, yet persistent high pressure and light easterly winds have supported elevated overnight readings in recent observations. Traders assign roughly equal weight to bins above 74°F and at or below 55°F because small shifts in cloud cover, dew-point advection, or timing of any coastal stratus can swing the minimum by several degrees. Updated NWS briefings and 00Z model runs expected overnight will provide the next resolution-relevant data points.
