Current National Weather Service and ensemble model consensus points to a minimum temperature of 70–74°F in Los Angeles on September 11, driven by a cooling marine layer and onshore flow following several days of extreme heat with highs near or above 90°F. Recent observations at Los Angeles International Airport show overnight lows in the low-to-mid 70s amid patchy fog development, consistent with typical September climatology where marine influence often caps minima near 64°F on average but is moderated here by lingering warmth. Traders assign the highest implied probability to the 72–73°F bin as model runs converge on this range, with limited upside risk from delayed clearing or stronger winds. Updated NWS guidance and overnight model cycles remain the key near-term catalysts that could shift probabilities before resolution.
