**The observed minimum temperature of 61°F at Denver International Airport on September 4, 2026, recorded by the National Weather Service at 5:24 AM MDT, drove overwhelming trader consensus toward the 60-61°F bin.** This value exceeded the 1991–2020 climatological normal low of 54°F by 7°F amid a hot, dry day with a maximum of 93°F, light winds, and no significant precipitation or cloud cover to enhance radiative cooling. Official station data from multiple NWS products, including the daily climate summary and preliminary local climatological data, align on this reading, leaving little room for alternative outcomes. Market-implied odds above 95% for this bin reflect the low uncertainty once preliminary observations confirmed the overnight low. A realistic challenge would require an official data revision or station-specific adjustment, though historical patterns and model verification make such shifts unlikely after the fact.
