Arsenal and Manchester City sit neck-and-neck as the leading runner-up contenders in trader pricing, reflecting Arsenal’s status as title favorites after their 2025/26 triumph alongside City’s proven squad depth and recent strengthening via Bruno Guimaraes. Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea trail closely because each carries meaningful upside from roster changes—new management at United under Michael Carrick, Chelsea’s project under Xabi Alonso, and Liverpool’s expected rebound—yet none has separated decisively in preseason assessments or transfer activity. The tight spread among the top five underscores a projected competitive top table where minor shifts in form, injuries, or results could easily reorder second place behind the Gunners. Lower-ranked sides like Aston Villa and Tottenham show realistic but narrower paths through strong recent campaigns and squad stability.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Premier League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Premier League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
