Windsor’s October 26 municipal election features incumbent Drew Dilkens seeking a fourth and final term against a crowded field of 11 candidates, including main challenger Fred Francis and others such as Benjamin Danyluk, Aaron Day, Kat Pasquach, and Patrick Sutherland. Dilkens filed nomination papers on the final day, framing his bid around continuity for ongoing projects and economic stability amid trade pressures, while Francis emphasizes change on taxes, debt, affordability, and downtown revitalization. The fragmented candidate list and early stage of the race, with nominations only recently closed, sustain tight trader pricing across contenders. Further separation could emerge from candidate withdrawals, early polling on key issues like development and fiscal policy, or campaign events that consolidate support behind frontrunners before election day.
