Fremantle Dockers host Hawthorn Hawks in an AFL qualifying final at Optus Stadium, where the Dockers’ perfect 12-0 home record this season creates strong home-ground momentum and clearance advantages. Hawthorn’s balanced attack and defense, capped by a commanding Perth win over West Coast and top-four finish, offset Fremantle’s minor-premiership standing. Key defender Brennan Cox’s calf injury sidelines a vital Fremantle stopper, narrowing the gap despite the Dockers’ strong recent turnover game and forwards like Jye Amiss in form. Trader consensus at 50 percent reflects these offsetting factors—Fremantle’s venue dominance and finals bye implications versus Hawthorn’s structure and travel resilience—while late team selections, player fitness updates, or contested-ball execution could shift implied probabilities in either direction.
