Adelaide Crows and Western Bulldogs enter this elimination final evenly matched at 50% implied probability, driven by Adelaide’s strong regular-season form and home advantage at Adelaide Oval balanced against the Bulldogs’ momentum from a narrow wildcard win over Collingwood. The Crows dominated the Dogs by 57 points in their round 14 clash but face a more motivated opponent in finals, where injury concerns on both sides—including Western’s tests for Tim English, Aaron Naughton, and Tom Liberatore alongside Adam Treloar’s calf absence, and Adelaide’s management of players like James Peatling—create uncertainty. Recent ladder positions, with Adelaide higher and the Bulldogs fighting through a depleted list, plus the knockout stakes, sustain the tight trader consensus without a clear edge.
