Russia’s State Duma election on 18–20 September 2026 features multi-day voting and expanded electronic options, with regional officials directed to target turnout near 50 percent to balance legitimacy goals against over-mobilization risks. State-affiliated polls show stated intent near 66 percent, yet low public awareness of the date and limited competitive campaigning contribute to expectations of modest participation. Administrative pressure on public-sector workers and students during primaries, alongside three-day voting mechanics, supports the market’s leading 50–53 percent range. Historical parliamentary turnout in recent cycles has clustered around this level, while presidential contests have produced substantially higher figures.
