Recent forecasts from multiple meteorological models indicate a high near 29°C in Shanghai on September 14, 2026, under partly cloudy to overcast skies with northeast winds of 10–15 km/h and minimal precipitation risk. This aligns with the market’s leading 29°C (57.5%) and 28°C (37.0%) outcomes, reflecting model consensus on moderate September conditions typical for the region, where average highs hover around 27°C. Stable high pressure and onshore flow are limiting daytime heating and preventing stronger warming that could push readings to 30°C or above, an outcome currently priced at just 5.5%. Updated model runs show little deviation overnight, supporting tight trader focus on the 28–29°C range ahead of final observations.
