Darline Graham, appointed to the U.S. Senate after her brother Lindsey Graham’s July 2026 death and endorsed by President Trump, advanced from the August 11 special Republican primary with roughly 33% of the vote in a 10-candidate field. This sets up an August 25 runoff against U.S. Rep. Ralph Norman, who finished second at about 23.5%. Traders focus on rapid vote consolidation from eliminated candidates such as Rep. Russell Fry and former Gov. Mark Sanford, Graham’s statewide name recognition and outsider appeal versus Norman’s Upstate congressional base, low-turnout dynamics in the compressed special election cycle, and the effects of a final debate plus early voting August 19–21. The short campaign window limits major shifts before ballots close.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Darline Graham wins at least the specified percentage of the valid votes cast in the 2026 South Carolina special Republican primary runoff election. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
If the results of the specified election are not known definitively by November 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “No”.
The primary resolution source for this market will be information from the State of South Carolina, such as official statewide results published by the South Carolina Election Commission (https://scvotes.gov/); however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may suffice.
If a recount is initiated before the vote total has been made official, the market will remain open until the recount is completed and the vote is made official.
