Bakir Izetbegović leads the market at 60% as the SDA leader positions himself as the main challenger to the current ruling coalition, drawing on party infrastructure and voter frustration with the Troika government’s performance since 2022. Incumbent Denis Bećirović sits at 37% despite a broad 14-party alliance and his role as current Bosniak Presidency member and rotating chair since March 2026, with traders apparently pricing in coalition fatigue and the rematch dynamics from his 2022 victory. Semir Efendić remains marginal at 2.7% as a potential vote-splitter whose candidacy, announced earlier in the cycle, is viewed as more likely to erode SDA support ahead of the October 4 general election. No major late developments have shifted the positioning in recent weeks.
