National Weather Service forecasts position a high near 99°F as the most likely outcome for Austin on September 11, driven by continued southerly flow, partly cloudy skies, and dew points in the mid-70s that support heat indices near 107°F but moderate peak air temperatures. Recent model runs show minimal day-to-day changes from the current hot pattern, with highs in the upper 90s to low 100s observed over the past week. Trader emphasis on the 98-99°F and 100-101°F bins reflects this tight consensus, while low probabilities for extremes below 96°F or above 102°F align with climatological norms and limited afternoon heating potential under the stable steering pattern. Updated NWS briefings tomorrow morning will provide the final guidance ahead of resolution.
