As of late July 2026, statements from US President Trump highlight progress on a disarmament agreement, though Hamas officials cite remaining hurdles tied to Israeli withdrawals and aid access. Ongoing IDF operations to expand territorial control, alongside reports of continued strikes, have complicated implementation of the Board of Peace transitional arrangements involving guarantor states. Regional tensions involving Iran add uncertainty to any potential expansion of foreign military or stabilization roles. Traders assess probabilities based on verifiable steps toward verified decommissioning, phased IDF perimeter withdrawals, and scheduled international oversight milestones in the coming weeks.
