If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to finish 17th in the 2026-27 Premier League, the associated market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 Premier League season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 17th place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The even distribution of implied probabilities across more than a dozen clubs at the start of the 2026-27 Premier League season highlights the intense parity in the fight to secure 17th place and avoid relegation. Newly promoted sides such as Leeds United, Ipswich Town, Coventry City, and Hull City enter with strong Championship momentum and recent squad investments, while mid-table incumbents including Everton, Crystal Palace, Fulham, and Brentford seek stability through transfer-window additions and managerial continuity. Established clubs like Aston Villa, Brighton, and Bournemouth face similar risks from fixture congestion, travel demands, and potential injury setbacks that can quickly shift table positions. Historical trends show the 17th spot often decided by narrow margins in goal difference and late results, sustaining the tight clustering of trader consensus.
