The Chihuahua gubernatorial race for the June 2027 election remains wide open more than ten months before primary processes intensify, with no party securing a clear frontrunner. Early polling averages place figures such as Rosana Díaz Reyes, Alejandro Domínguez Domínguez, Graciela Ortiz González, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, Marco Bonilla Mendoza, and Andrea Chávez Treviño in a narrow band, reflecting fragmented support across PAN, Morena-PT-PVEM alliances, and independents. Recent surveys highlight shifting preferences tied to local issues like security, economic development in Ciudad Juárez, and party internal dynamics, while the absence of finalized nominations and limited campaign spending keeps probabilities compressed. Trader consensus captures this uncertainty, with separation likely to emerge after December 2026 precampaigns, candidate registrations, and the first head-to-head polling waves.
