Carlton and Adelaide enter this matchup on relatively even footing, with the Blues sitting tenth on the ladder at 11-10-1 while the Crows hold seventh at 14-8. Carlton’s strong late-season surge under interim coach Josh Fraser, fueled by improved midfield structure and returns from injury including defender Jacob Weitering, has narrowed historical gaps against higher-placed sides. Adelaide maintains a stronger percentage and home-ground familiarity at Adelaide Oval but has dealt with inconsistent results and key absences, with recent inclusions like ruckman Lachie McAndrew and forward Darcy Fogarty providing boosts. Both sides show comparable recent form and roster depth, creating tight trader consensus around 50 percent implied probability; further injury clarity, selection changes, or travel factors could shift momentum quickly in either direction.
