The early stages of Guatemala’s Liga Nacional Apertura 2026 keep the runner-up race wide open, with Municipal atop the table on 19 points after eight matches while Antigua GFC sits one point back and San Pedro holds third on 16. A compressed mid-table group—Guastatoya, Marquense, Xelajú MC, Mixco, and others—sits within a handful of points of one another, producing similar recent form and goal differentials that leave few teams with a sustained edge. Upcoming fixtures, including several direct clashes among these sides, plus the league’s typical late-season volatility and playoff qualification path, sustain broad uncertainty. Trader pricing reflects this parity, assigning comparable implied probabilities across most listed clubs rather than consolidating around early frontrunners.
