This market will resolve to the goalkeeper who records the most clean sheets through all rounds of the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by FIFA World Cup rules. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the goalkeeper who conceded fewer goals during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the goalkeeper whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tight clustering of implied probabilities among top goalkeepers for the most clean sheets reflects the similar projected match counts and defensive strengths of their national teams heading into the tournament. Alisson Becker’s leading position stems from Brazil’s expected depth and backline stability, while Emiliano Martínez, Diogo Costa, and Thibaut Courtois sit close behind due to comparable opportunities for Argentina, Portugal, and Belgium in group and knockout stages. Recent international form, historical clean-sheet rates in major competitions, and variables like fixture congestion or opponent quality keep the field competitive, as any team’s early exit or defensive lapse can quickly shift outcomes. Lower probabilities for keepers from teams with shorter expected runs underscore these structural differences.
