Coco Gauff arrives in strong form after winning Cincinnati, while Jessica Pegula leads the American contingent with consistent match wins. Elena Rybakina’s leg injury and potential withdrawal, alongside Iga Swiatek’s fatigue from a grueling Cincinnati semifinal, open opportunities in the draw. Broader WTA injury trends and the absence of several players heighten uncertainty for early-round advancement, with trader consensus reflecting form, fitness, and historical hard-court records as key variables for reaching the round of 16.
