A consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The upcoming 2026-27 Serie A campaign opens with a wide-open race for most clean sheets among a deep group of established goalkeepers. Mile Svilar enters as a slight market leader on the strength of Roma’s organized backline and his recent consistency, yet Marco Carnesecchi, Jean Butez, and Mike Maignan sit close behind thanks to Atalanta’s tactical discipline, Como’s continued defensive structure, and Milan’s reinforced unit. Inter’s addition of John Stones and other roster adjustments further distribute defensive strength across multiple clubs, while historical patterns show clean-sheet totals can shift sharply with injuries, rotation, and schedule congestion. Trader pricing reflects this balance, with no single goalkeeper holding a decisive edge entering the first matchweek.
