The Premier League's 2026-27 campaign has opened with multiple goalkeepers from defensively solid sides posting early clean sheets, leaving the Golden Glove race tightly bunched. David Raya enters off a strong 2025-26 showing with Arsenal, yet the Gunners' fixture list and squad rotation keep his edge modest in trader pricing. Emiliano Martínez, Nick Pope, and others benefit from comparable team structures at Aston Villa and Newcastle, where recent form and set-piece organization support shutout potential. New signings, minor squad tweaks, and the absence of a dominant early leader mean no single keeper has pulled away after the first matchdays, sustaining the wide distribution of implied probabilities across established and emerging options.
