The 2026 NFL rushing touchdowns market shows a tightly bunched field among established backs and emerging options, with no single player commanding a dominant edge in implied probability. Jahmyr Gibbs, Derrick Henry, and Jonathan Taylor lead trader consensus due to their proven red-zone volume, strong offensive line support, and 2025 production trends, while James Cook, David Montgomery, and Josh Allen remain close behind amid shared backfield dynamics and dual-threat elements. Competitive balance stems from variable workloads, injury histories, scheme shifts across multiple teams, and the inherent unpredictability of goal-line distribution in a league where rushing touchdowns often hinge on short-yardage situations and offensive line play. Recent projections highlight how back-to-back standouts like Taylor and rising workloads for younger runners keep probabilities clustered in the low-to-mid teens.
