Recent polling aggregates indicate the Parti Québécois maintains a narrow lead heading into the October 5 election, leaving the race for second place highly competitive among the Parti libéral du Québec, Coalition Avenir Québec, and others. The PLQ has shown modest gains in the past week amid CAQ momentum loss, positioning Liberals to potentially claim official opposition status in seat projections. Leaders’ debates, including the September 15 TVA event and the upcoming Noovo debate, along with voter priorities on the economy, U.S. trade pressures, and sovereignty concerns, continue to shape regional support patterns. Trader consensus reflects this fluidity, with limited separation among mid-tier contenders until final vote counts clarify outcomes.
