**Multiple viable candidates from competing political movements keep the race for Pardubice mayor tightly contested ahead of the October 9–10 communal elections.** Current mayor Jan Nadrchal leads ANO’s ticket, while first deputy Jakub Rychtecký heads the broadened Žijeme Pardubice coalition that includes several local groupings. Other contenders such as Daniel Vondra for STAN, Martin Slezák in the Progresivní Pardubice alliance, Ondřej Tichý for ODS, and Petr Netolický for Noví lidovci each draw support from distinct voter bases. Recent registration of candidate lists in late August confirmed this fragmented field without a dominant frontrunner. Trader pricing reflects uncertainty over which coalition or individual will secure the most votes in the multi-party contest, with potential shifts possible from last-minute campaigning or turnout patterns among local blocs.
