Ben Johns enters the 2026-27 PPA Tour season as the clear leader in men’s doubles with Gabe Tardio and mixed doubles alongside Anna Leigh Waters, building on an undefeated 2026 doubles campaign and a record streak of at least one gold per event. However, men’s singles remains far more contested, with recent losses to emerging talents like 16-year-old John Lucian Goins and established challengers such as Chris Haworth highlighting vulnerability to upsets and fatigue from a demanding three-event schedule. The field’s growing depth—driven by strong partnerships like Staksrud/Patriquin and Alshon—creates narrow margins for sweeping all three divisions at any single tournament. These dynamics, combined with historical patterns of zero or one Triple Crown in prior seasons despite consistent gold-medal contention, sustain the tight clustering around one, two, or zero outcomes in trader pricing.

A "Triple Crown" is achieved when a player wins the singles, gender doubles, and mixed doubles titles at the same PPA Tour event. Each Triple Crown counts once. Titles won at events that are not part of the 2026-27 PPA Tour season do not count toward this market.
Each option covers exactly one total, and the highest option covers that total or more, such that every possible number of Triple Crowns, including zero, maps to exactly one option.
If the 2026-27 PPA Tour season is cancelled, or the number of Triple Crowns won by Ben Johns cannot be determined by May 16, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve according to the number of Triple Crowns won by Ben Johns up to that point.
The primary resolution source will be official information from the Professional Pickleball Association (https://ppatour.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
