This market will resolve based on the highest temperature recorded in the 'Daily Observations' table on Weather Underground, not the figure displayed in the 'Day High & Low' summary section; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Daily Observations table shall be the primary resolution source not the Day High & Low section. This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Masroor Airbase Station in degrees Celsius on 10 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Masroor Airbase Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/pk/karachi/OPKC. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Recent forecasts position 32–34°C as the most probable range for Karachi’s August 10 maximum, aligning closely with market-implied odds led by 33°C at 50.5%.** Pakistan Meteorological Department outlooks indicate weak monsoon currents through early August, producing normal to slightly below-normal temperatures across Sindh alongside scattered rain or thundershowers that can suppress daytime peaks via cloud cover and evaporative cooling. Typical August climatology shows mean highs near 31–32°C, with rare excursions above 34°C when skies clear and humidity drops. Coastal sea breezes and high moisture content further moderate extremes. Model consensus and recent PMD guidance point to 32–33°C as the base case for the 10th, with 34°C possible only if drier, sunnier conditions materialize; higher readings (35°C+) remain low-probability outliers given current steering patterns. Updated model runs and official briefings in the next 48 hours will refine these probabilities ahead of market resolution.
