This market will resolve according to the winner of Titled Tuesday on September 8, 2026 11:59 PM ET. If the listed player does not play their corresponding market will resolve to "No". If this tournament is postponed after September 22, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple players are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Chess.com (https://www.chess.com/events/info/2026-titled-tuesday-blitz); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The deep field of over 400 titled players, including numerous elite blitz specialists, keeps the September 8 Titled Tuesday tightly contested, with trader consensus assigning Hikaru Nakamura and Magnus Carlsen the clearest edges at 21.5% and 18.6% implied probability. Nakamura's unmatched historical win count and consistent recent form in similar speed events contrast with Carlsen's strong showings when participating, yet weekly results demonstrate high variance as multiple grandmasters like Alireza Firouzja, Aleksei Sarana, and Jan-Krzysztof Duda rotate victories in the 11-round Swiss. The 5+0 time control rewards sharp calculation and resilience across the field, preventing any single player from commanding dominant odds despite superior ratings or experience.
