Darian Mensah enters as the clear frontrunner after leading the conference with 3,973 yards and 34 touchdowns at Duke in 2025 before transferring to Miami, where he posted 401 yards and five scores in his debut against Stanford. Kevin Jennings at SMU, Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele at California, CJ Bailey at NC State, and Mason Heintschel at Pitt each bring substantial prior production and supporting casts, while newcomers such as Christopher Vizzina at Clemson and several other projected starters add further depth. With no dominant returning leader and multiple offenses featuring experienced quarterbacks plus skill-position talent, implied probabilities stay tightly bunched as Week 1 unfolds.
