Multiple established tracks from major 2026 releases are locked in a tight race for the #2 U.S. Spotify spot the week of August 14, with market-implied odds clustering near 50% for several options and lower probabilities for Olivia Rodrigo’s “Stupid Song” and “the cure,” Ariana Grande’s “Petal” and “hate that i made you love me,” and Morgan Wallen’s “Been By Now.” Rodrigo’s earlier singles delivered extended #1 runs and massive first-week streams from her album, yet their recent daily numbers have moderated amid competition. Grande’s “hate that i made you love me” similarly opened strong on the Petal project before settling, while Wallen’s track draws consistent country-streaming support. Traders appear to view the outcome as fluid pending final streaming tallies, with no single song showing decisive momentum or a clear historical edge in mid-August chart battles.
