Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate Denver’s overnight minimum on September 13 will likely settle near 57–64 °F, driven by clear to partly cloudy skies allowing efficient radiative cooling at the city’s 5,280-foot elevation after a mild daytime high near 90 °F. A weak surface high and light southwest-to-variable winds limit mixing, while dew points in the mid-40s to low-50s support modest cooling without widespread frost risk this early in the season. Ensemble forecasts show limited spread around these values, with any showers or increased cloud cover from a passing disturbance potentially raising the low a few degrees. Historical September 13 averages (low ~50 °F) provide context, yet current conditions favor a milder outcome; traders have priced the 57 °F-or-below bin highest because the latest hourly guidance and short-range model runs still permit a dip into the upper 50s before sunrise. Updated NWS briefings and next model cycle remain the key near-term catalysts.
