Official forecasts from sources like the China Meteorological Administration and global models project a maximum of 31°C in Beijing on September 13 under clear skies, light northerly winds, and low humidity typical of late-summer high-pressure dominance. This consensus, reflected in the 99% market-implied probability for 31°C, aligns with observed afternoon peaks near 29–30°C and minimal precipitation risk. Historical September baselines support such readings without extreme heatwave conditions. A realistic challenge would require rapid model revisions from increased cloud cover, southerly flow, or localized urban effects suppressing the peak below 31°C before resolution.
