Current National Weather Service guidance and supporting model runs indicate a daytime high near 72–75°F for Chicago on September 13, driven by northwest winds of 5–15 mph, building cloud cover, and a weak frontal boundary that limits warming while introducing a 40% chance of scattered afternoon showers. Morning temperatures near 68–70°F and seasonal norms around 77°F provide context for why trader consensus assigns the highest implied probability (50.5%) to the 74–75°F bin, with 72–73°F at 25% reflecting slight downside risk from heavier cloud cover or earlier showers. Updated model data and official briefings through midday will refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
