Rising component costs for advanced memory, NAND, DRAM, and 2nm silicon wafers are the main driver behind trader expectations for a meaningful price increase on the iPhone 18 Pro. Analysts, including GF Securities’ Jeff Pu, now forecast a $200–$300 hike over the iPhone 17 Pro’s $1,099 starting price, with estimates centering on $1,299–$1,399 for the base 256 GB model. Apple CEO Tim Cook has publicly acknowledged these supply-chain pressures without confirming exact retail figures. The September 2026 launch event, expected in the first half of the month, will provide the first official pricing details and could still see Apple absorb part of the added bill-of-materials costs. Historical patterns show Apple typically maintains flagship pricing tiers unless component inflation becomes unavoidable.

This market will resolve based on the pre-tax launch price in USD of the standard edition of the iPhone 18 Pro as listed on the official Apple Store website or Apple’s retail pricing in the United States on the first official day of its release.
If the price differs between configurations (e.g., base storage vs. higher storage), this market will resolve according to the lower price of the version that includes the full standard iPhone 18 Pro model with no additional features, accessories, or services (e.g., base storage capacity only).
If the iPhone 18 Pro is not released by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No".
The primary resolution source for this market will be the official Apple Store (online or retail pricing), however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
