PSV Eindhoven, Ajax, AZ Alkmaar, and Feyenoord remain tightly bunched in the 2026-27 Eredivisie runner-up market due to substantial summer squad rebuilds and unpredictable early results. Ajax invested heavily in experienced additions including Marc-André ter Stegen, Julian Brandt, and Caio Henrique to close the gap on defending champions PSV, while AZ has surged to the top of the standings with strong attacking form. Feyenoord retained key personnel for continuity after targeted reinforcements, and PSV maintained depth despite outgoing transfers. These factors, combined with an early Ajax-PSV clash won by the visitors, have produced closely contested implied probabilities reflecting the wisdom of crowds on potential second-place outcomes.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Eredivisie for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Eredivisie (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Eredivisie; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
