In the early stages of the 2027 Querétaro gubernatorial race, trader sentiment reflects substantial uncertainty as no candidate has secured a party nomination and multiple contenders from PAN, Morena, and other groups remain viable. Recent mid-2026 polls show PAN holding a lead in overall voting intention at the party level, consistent with the incumbent administration's record on economic growth and security, yet individual preferences within PAN remain fragmented among figures such as Felipe Fernando Macías and Luis Bernardo Nava. Morena's potential standard-bearers, including Santiago Nieto, trail in aggregate surveys. With the election more than ten months away and nomination contests still fluid, the market prices many outcomes in the low-to-mid 40s or below, underscoring how shifts in party endorsements, internal surveys, or late alliances could quickly separate the field.
