This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player records 10 or more interceptions during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only regular season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. A player's total is the total he records across all of his 2026-27 NFL regular season games, including games played for more than one team. Only interceptions recorded on defense count; interceptions thrown by a passer do not count. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined whether any player recorded 10 or more interceptions within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Recent NFL seasons have featured subdued interception totals, with the 2025 leader finishing at seven and no defender reaching double digits since Trevon Diggs posted 11 in 2021. This scarcity underpins the slim trader preference for no player hitting 10-plus in 2026-27. Competitive balance stems from high-volume passing attacks across the league, which create opportunities for ball-production standouts like Patrick Surtain II or Derek Stingley Jr., alongside veteran safeties maintaining strong instincts. Minor 2026 rule emphases on player safety and catch-process clarifications introduce limited uncertainty without directly suppressing secondary takeaways. A single cornerback or safety sustaining elite coverage plus opportunistic positioning could push totals higher, while continued emphasis on quarterback protection and scheme discipline could keep league-wide picks below the threshold.
